Rocky’s Matcha is an independently owned tea company specializing in ceremonial grade matcha. Our mission is to provide a great cup of matcha to good people, everywhere.
We take pride in partnering with tea farmers and producers steeped in the craft of matcha. We source conventional and organic matcha, blends and single cultivars, from the world’s leading regions for tea harvesting, primarily located throughout Japanese prefectures. The care and consideration we pour into every product stems not only from our desire to provide the highest quality matcha possible, but from our deep admiration for the art and tradition associated with matcha.

At Rocky’s Matcha, we believe in delivering the highest quality matcha with a rich, smooth taste and vibrant green color. One key factor that plays a significant role in the quality of matcha is how the leaves are ground. While traditional stone mills and modern bead mills both process tea leaves into fine powder, their impact on the matcha's flavor, texture, and nutritional properties differs significantly.

Its signature profile is the result of both nature and nurture: Japan’s unique island terroir is the foundation for the distinctive characteristics that define matcha, while practices like shade-growing, stone-milling, and hand-whisking all contribute to its final makeup.
